We at West Coast Counselling are saddened and horrified by the recent events of the Lapu Lapu tragedy in Vancouver. We are here to help anyone who has been affected by this event. We also wanted to share our counselling association the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors is offering a free public webinar on grief and loss following the Lapu Lapu tragedy. ‘Caring for Ourselves and our Communities after Tragic Loss’ on May 01 will offer practical steps to support anyone dealing with the aftermath of the tragedy.

The one-hour webinar will explore various approaches - whether individuals are looking for ways to talk to children about what’s happened or hoping for ideas to manage feelings of worry or overwhelm.
