We would like to recognize another hero in healthcare who was presented with a Guardian Angel award recently! The Guardian Angel program celebrates those who have made a significant difference in the lives of their patients, often going above and beyond the call of duty.

Dr. Caitlin Hutchings has been recognized for her phenomenal work recently and was presented with a Guardian Angel Award from the WRH Foundation!

Dr. Hutchings' nominator shared their experience and gratitude with us as follows: "Dr. Hutchings, thank you for truly listening to our concerns while triaging and assessing my father. We are endlessly grateful for your compassion, intelligence, professionalism, and sound clinical judgment. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the care you provided and for treating my father with such respect and humanity. Thank you for being our Guardian Angel!"

Your compassionate heart was very apparent, even amidst such a traumatic event for me. You kept checking on me and I remember your voice, steady and strong, as I was coming in and out of consciousness. You were my voice when I had lost my own.
