We would like to recognize two heroes in healthcare who were presented with Guardian Angel awards recently!
The Guardian Angel program celebrates those who have made a significant difference in the lives of their patients, often going above and beyond the call of duty.
Lisa Kelly and Mason Matthews were recognized for their phenomenal work in the ICU recently and were presented with Guardian Angel Awards from the WRH Foundation!
Lisa's nominator shared their experience and gratitude with us as follows: "Lisa, you are an outstanding nurse with the utmost compassion and caregiving skills. We need more nurses like you. It is NLHS Western Zone’s loss that you are retired. There should be a program for nurses like you to teach new nurses your amazing skills, as there are things you cannot learn from textbooks. On behalf of our entire family, we extend our heartfelt thanks for being our Guardian Angel!"
Mason's nominator shared their experience and gratitude with us as follows: "Mason, you were so kind and compassionate to our loved one during their last days in ICU. You were so professional yet caring and we appreciated that so much. On behalf of our entire family, thank you for being our Guardian Angel. "
