Prior to your appointment you will have to fill out a health history form, so that your massage therapist can make your treatment as effective as possible, so please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Once your appointment starts the massage therapist will look over your health history form and ask questions about your condition, for your first appointment you will receive a 15 minute assessment and the RMT will prepare a treatment plan specifically for you. If you have any questions or concerns any time throughout your treatment please do not hesitate to ask, because it's YOUR treatment and we want it to be as beneficial as possible for you. If you cannot keep your appointment, please let us know, we require a 4 hour cancellation notice, or you will be charged for your appointment. Massage Therapy is recognized as health care, so most insurance plans cover Massage Therapy, some plans cover as much as 90% of the treatment. Insurance companies such as Blue Cross and Desjardins offer Direct Billing. Certain insurance plans require you to have a Doctor's referral before you have a treatment, so to insure that your first treatment goes smoothly, please check with your insurance plan to get all of those things figured out.
