Too much screen time—especially on apps like TikTok and Instagram Reels—can do more than disrupt sleep and self-esteem. It can also mimic symptoms seen in ADHD, such as:

⚠️ Short attention span
⚠️ Impulsivity
⚠️ Mood swings or aggressive behaviour
⚠️ Difficulty with emotional regulation

These platforms are designed to keep kids hooked—triggering constant dopamine spikes that their developing brains aren’t built to handle.

But the solution isn’t no tech—it’s mindful tech.

✅ Set time boundaries for screen use
✅ Co-view and talk about content
✅ Encourage real-life connections and outdoor play
✅ Teach digital literacy and emotional awareness
