🌟 Bridge of Dreams Moment! 🌟

This past weekend, one of our wonderful residents, Mr. Glen Peterson, had a lifelong dream come true — throwing a pitch at a professional baseball game! ⚾️🎉

Thanks to the generosity of the Ottawa Titans Baseball Club, Glen stepped onto the field at the Ottawa Stadium in front of a cheering crowd, proudly representing Southbridge Cornwall as part of our Bridge to Dreams program.

Bridge to Dreams is all about making wishes come true for our residents — reminding us all that no matter your age, it's never too late to experience something unforgettable.

As a lifelong fan of the game and a former pitcher, the pitching mound was like returning home for Glen. He made the most of his opportunity as he delivered a pitch filled with heart, pride, and a whole lot of joy. 💙

Thank you to everyone who helped make this dream a reality — and to Glen, thank you for inspiring us with your spirit and love for the game!

🌟 Bridge to Dreams Spotlight: Katie McMillan at the Glengarry Highland Games 🌟

This past weekend, we had the incredible honour of helping one of our beloved residents, Katie McMillan, fulfill a lifelong dream as part of our Bridge to Dreams program.

Katie has been a proud attendee of the Glengarry Highland Games since their very beginning—never once missing a Friday night Tattoo. Her love for Scottish tradition runs deep, and over the years she hand-stitched kilts for each of her daughters, passing down the spirit of her heritage one tartan at a time.

This year, Katie returned to the Games not just as a spectator, but as an honoured guest. In a heartwarming moment, she was presented with a medal of recognition for her decades of dedication and unwavering support of the Games.

It was a day filled with pride, joy, music, and meaningful memories—a true celebration of Katie’s legacy and the traditions she holds dear.

Thank you to the Glengarry Highland Games for making this moment so special, and for reminding us all of the power of community, culture, and dreams fulfilled.
