When was the last time that fear stopped you from doing something?
95% of the time, fear is coming from a past situation, where you held onto a negative emotion and stored it into your body…
Then when you think of the future, that negative emotion presents itself … especially if it has gone unhealed, and it likely looks like a fear of _______.
This fear can be many things… a fear of success, a fear of failure, a fear of money, a fear of being seen, a fear of connection.
Fear almost always pops up whenever we are choosing to move through uncomfortable situations, and that is because of our good friend, the ego. The Fear and The Ego are not friends.
Sidenote: There is a huge difference between Ego fear and Real Fear. We are talking about Ego Fear.
The ego likes to keep us safe, and often keeping us safe means keeping us playing small. To avoid feeling fear.
When we play small, when we ignore that little voice inside of us begging for more, when we purposely turn off our intuition, we actually overexert our energy.
Just remember, it is actually so much harder to ignore that call. To actively choose to go against the pull from your heart space.
To seek the comfortable and easy route may seem surface level easy, but I assure you, in the long run… you will feel those effects of ignoring your Self. The constant ignoring of your body and you calling can lead to bigger issues.
I invite you to face a fear. Do it radically and boldly. Here is your hall pass to do the thing. Prove to yourself that your FEAR is something APPEARING scarier than what it actually may be.
Show your ego that showing up for yourself, making the jump, leaping into your purpose, reaching out to that person isn’t real fear. Reprogram that piece of you.
So, again, I ask you… when was the last time that fear stopped you from doing something? Do the thing.
