1-In the summer I love to be outdoors, camping, hiking, and at the beach, but in the colder months I’m much more of a homebody and can spend all day with a good book!

2-I would love to go to Italy one day.

3-It’s such a difficult choice, but I think I’d have to go with pasta…literally any and all kinds. Or sushi, I don’t think I could ever get sick of that.

4-This changes pretty much monthly for me, and I never seem to be able to pick just one favourite, but really anything by Noah Kahan is my favourite!

5- Flying! Although I love to travel, so I make it work.

1-When I have time off, I like to spend it doing quiet activities, like puzzles and pain-by-numbers, with a couple friends and my cat as company (I LOVE cats! My family and I have fostered 87 kittens and counting...my goal is 101!)
2-My dream vacation is thankfully one that I have done multiple times- visiting my very rustic family cottage in Nova Scotia! I love watching the sunset over the ocean (I’d probably love watching the sunrise too, but I am NOT a morning person!)
3-I don’t think I could just eat one food or meal for the rest of my life! I tend to thrive on variety- which is also why I love midwifery- will I be welcoming a baby today, or will I do my laundry?- who knows!
4-My favourite song of all time if probably the classical song Pachelbel’s Canon. I fell asleep listening to this as a child, and it still brings a sense of peace and calm in my day.
5- I don’t think I can answer this question!

After the hospital reconfiguration in January, the Family Birthing team missed the colourful entrance of their previous space—until RN Robyn Higgins stepped in with her creativity! Robyn, known for her artistic flair, painted a beautiful mural that now welcomes everyone to the unit. Thank you, Robyn, for bringing warmth and colour to our new home! 💐🎨
