Most people think hunger is just… hunger.

But it’s not that simple.

There are actually 3 different reasons you might feel the urge to eat—and only one of them means your body truly needs food.

Here’s what’s helped me personally:

When I crave something like junk food, I pause and ask:
👉 “Would I eat eggs or meat right now?”

If the answer is no… it’s usually not real hunger.

Instead of reacting, I’ll:
• Make tea
• Drink water
• Do something small (like a chore or quick task)

Because here’s the truth:

Cravings feel urgent, but they’re not permanent.

They pass. Every time.

The more you start recognizing which type of hunger you’re feeling, the more control you gain—without restriction or guilt.
