Earlier this week, our Chief Digital Officer, Dheeraj Paul, attended the Canada Health Infoway Partnership Conference, Accelerating Connected Care: Innovation Driving Progress, in Quebec City.

The conference brought together national and international healthcare leaders, innovators, and digital health experts—all committed to advancing connected care for Canadians.

Through AI integration and digital health partnerships, Bayshore is creating a more supportive health journey for Canadians. Our digital platforms connect patients/clients and caregivers in real time, ensuring care is coordinated, transparent, and responsive.

We also proudly sponsored the event's wellness breaks, giving attendees valuable opportunities to network and connect.

Bayshore is proud to announce our partnership with the Arctic Children and Youth Foundation!

The Bayshore Foundation is donating $25,000 to expand healthcare access for children and youth across Nunavut. Together, we're working to break down barriers and bring culturally safe, community-based care to Canada's northern communities.

This funding will support community clinics, mental health programs, and training for local healthcare providers in communities like Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet, and remote hamlets across the territory.

This Remembrance Day, we pause to honour those who have served and continue to serve with compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication.

Among them is Christie Blackwell, a retired Canadian Armed Forces Physician Assistant and now a Physician Assistant with 24/7 Occupational Emergency Medicine Solutions a subsidiary under the Bayshore HealthCare Staffing Division.

From postings across Canada to deployments in Afghanistan and Latvia, Christie’s journey reflects the resilience and heart shared by so many veterans. Today, she continues to serve in remote healthcare settings, bringing the same care and commitment she carried in uniform.

Let us take this moment to thank Christie and all veterans for their service, sacrifice, and the legacy they carry forward.

Photo: Christie (right) is seen leading a field-based medical training session with NATO partners in Latvia. Using a water bottle and tape to teach Cricothyrotomy, this is an example of her creativity and leadership in austere environments.

Cricothyrotomy is emergency procedure that helps someone to breathe when their normal airway is completely blocked.

As Thanksgiving approaches, we’re reminded of the importance of gratitude, for one another, for the moments of care that connect us, and for the people who make a real difference every day.

At Bayshore, this spirit of thankfulness is especially meaningful as we celebrate Bayshore’s Caregiver Week. It's the perfect time to recognize and honour the compassionate caregivers who are the heart of everything we do.

To our caregivers, we thank you.

Your kindness, dedication, and resilience transform lives, not just during holidays, but every day, in homes, communities, and care settings across the country. You bring our mission to life which is to make a difference in the lives of those we care for.

Thanksgiving is about connection and care, the values you live every day. Your work touches countless lives and helps shape a healthier, more compassionate future.

From all of us at Bayshore, we are so grateful for you.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Bayshore Integrated Care Solutions (ICS) was proud to be part of the 2025 Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO) Global Summit in Toronto!

Our team members - Yeasmin Akhter, Alred Allan Lavada, and Nissinirupa Gurrala, joined healthcare leaders and innovators from around the world to share insights on optimizing patient outcomes through evidence-based practices and staff engagement.

It was an inspiring journey of learning and connection, capped with a great moment meeting Ontario’s Minister of Long-Term Care, Natalia Kusendova-Bashta. We're excited to apply these new insights to deliver even better care at Bayshore.

Today, on September 30th, we honour National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We wear orange to remember the children who never returned home, to recognize survivors' strength, and to acknowledge the intergenerational impacts of residential schools.

The orange shirt represents Phyllis Webstad's story - her new orange shirt taken on her first day at residential school, a powerful symbol of how Indigenous identity was stripped from children.

At Bayshore, we are committed to supporting truth and reconciliation by helping Indigenous Peoples access quality care within their communities.

Join us in solidarity with Indigenous communities across Canada.

Bayshore Northern Staffing raises over $600 in a single day for Water First!

On September 14th, our teams from across Canada gathered in Cornwall for the Bayshore Northern Staffing Conference. It was an incredible opportunity for our admin staff—from HR, recruitment, client service coordinators, staff concierge, managers of clinical practice and beyond—to come together, connect, and collaborate in person.

The first night set the tone with lighthearted awards in the beautiful outdoors, creative categories that had everyone laughing and celebrating one another. On the main conference day, each team hosted engaging activities designed to spark team bonding and encourage connections between colleagues who may not often work together.

Not only was this conference about building stronger relationships, but it was also about giving back. Together, we raised over $600 in support of Water First, a Canadian charity dedicated to addressing water challenges in Indigenous communities through education, training, and meaningful partnerships.

We’re proud of what we accomplished together in just one day—and even more inspired knowing these funds will help support access to clean water where it’s needed most.

💙 A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event—and this impact—a success.
