Yoga provides people with a sanctuary where they can deeply connect with and heal their bodies, as well as calm their minds. I create a safe and welcoming environment where new and experienced practitioners feel empowered to move with love and kindness. Yoga therapy is more than a career; it is a passion and my calling. After spending 25 years as a Certified Professional Accountant, I now dedicate my life to helping others move and feel better. With a personal journey through pain and healing, I have transformed my own struggles into a powerful skillset for guiding others on their path to wellness. Embodied Flow is a Somatic Movement practice heavily rooted in music. In this women’s only class, we’re guided by the playlist and led into Alpha and Theta brain waves, allowing us to drop out of our minds and into our bodies. We move intuitively, honouring what feels good to our bodies in the moment - leaving our practice feeling light, invigorated, and grounded in our unique energy.

Meet Zynaya, the newest addition to the Broken Squirrel Yoga Teacher Team! After discovering Somatic Movement in 2017, she transformed her lifelong social anxiety into quiet confidence through consistent practice. 🧘‍♀ ✨

Experiencing how a strong embodiment practice strengthened every area of her life, she is now devoted to guiding women toward cultivating a nourishing relationship within themselves. When she's not in the studio, Zyanya is deep in the world of home styling, playing outside, or dancing in the kitchen while experimenting with new recipes.

Our Yoga Therapy for Back Care class is designed to support spinal health and ease discomfort in the back, hips, and shoulders through gentle, targeted movement and therapeutic yoga practices. Ideal for anyone experiencing chronic tension, mild to moderate back pain, or looking to build a healthier relationship with their spine.
