Our sciatic nerve travels from the lower part of our spine, through our gluteal area and down the back of the leg. Often, increased tension of the Piriformis muscle (located in the gluteal region)can result in pain and/or discomfort though the back of the thigh, calf, foot, hip, and/or lower back. Massage Therapy can be effective in treating this condition!
