That’s exactly why I love simple meals with real flavour and less stress.

For me, cooking isn't about being fancy or perfect.

That’s where simple seasonings and easy meal ideas make all the difference.
Because dinner shouldn't feel like another job on your to-do list.
It should be the moment when everyone finally sits down, breathes, and reconnects.

Savoury Herb Gravy

Whisk up homemade gravy with real, savoury flavour—no drippings required. Perfect for roast chicken, turkey, or mashed potatoes, and a quick way to elevate poutine, meatloaf, or veggie sides.

Ingredients
2 tbsp Savoury Herb Gravy mix
1 cup water

Preparation
1. COMBINE 2 tbsp mix into 1 cup water.

2. COOK over medium-high heat until gravy comes to a boil, simmer 1 minute, stirring constantly until thickened OR MICROWAVE in a 4 cup bowl uncovered for 3 minutes until bubbly and thickened. Stop and stir halfway.

3. SERVE on roasted meat, poutine, mashed potatoes and veggies.

Lemon Garlic Chicken

Skip the grocery store rotisserie chicken. This one’s just as easy—and you know exactly what’s in it. Bright lemon and savoury garlic turn simple chicken into a juicy, flavour-packed dinner or meal prep for the week. Just add oil, roast, and serve for a meal that tastes fresh, vibrant, and anything but basic.

Ingredients
3 lbs chicken
1 tbsp oil
1 pkg Lemon Garlic Chicken
3-PackNew

Preparation
PREHEAT oven to 375º F.
COAT one 3lb (1.36 kg) whole chicken or 3 lbs bone-in, skin-on chicken parts with 1 tbsp oil.
RUB the seasoning on both sides of the chicken.
PLACE whole chicken in a roasting pan, breast side up. For chicken parts, arrange on a sheet pan with skin side up.
ROAST uncovered 70-80 minutes for a whole chicken; 40-45 minutes for chicken parts, or until internal temperature reaches 165º F.
LET REST 10-15 minutes after removing from the oven
