Back in 2018, my granddaughter asked me to crochet her a stuffed toy. At the time, I was still pretty new to crochet and honestly didn’t feel confident enough to take something like that on… but she wasn’t taking no for an answer ❤️

Not long after, Domino came to life and joined our family 🐾

He’s a little worse for wear these days (well-loved is what I like to call it!), but that just means he’s been on a lot of adventures. In fact, he even tagged along with her on one of her high school graduation challenges just a month ago — still by her side after all these years.

What started as a project I wasn’t sure I could do turned into something pretty special 💕

✨ Throwback to 8 years ago when my granddaughter ended up with quite the wardrobe for her American Girl doll ✨

This dragonfly poncho set was one of my favorites — a cozy one for her and a perfectly matching mini version for her doll. There was something so special about making pieces they could both wear together.💕

Looking back, it brings back so many sweet memories of creativity, love, and a whole lot of yarn 🧶🌸

💙🦈Meet my latest ocean friend – a super cuddly crocheted whale shark! 🦈💙

This gentle giant was made with lots of love using soft blue and white yarn, complete with those signature gentle spots, tiny fins, and an adorable smile. Whale sharks are such amazing, peaceful creatures, and I had so much fun bringing one to life in crochet form.

He’s extra special because he’s going to one of my all-time favourite people – it’s her absolute favourite animal! 🥰
