With the new school year starting, please remember that school zones are back in effect. Slow down, stay alert, and keep our communities safe.

For more tips on how to , check out this helpful post from the City of Kamloops.

This September, thousands of students in Kamloops will be walking, biking, taking the bus, or being dropped off at school. Let’s make sure they all arrive safely.

Motorists, remember to:
✔️ slow down in school zones
✔️ watch for kids crossing and cyclists
✔️ obey crossing guards
✔️ always stop for school buses with flashing red lights

Together, we can keep our roads safe for students this school year.

Happy International Day of Friendship! 💙💚💛🧡❤️

At NEXUS, friendship means more than just connection — it’s about inclusion, belonging, and being there for one another.

Today, we celebrate the relationships that lift us up, the moments of shared laughter, and the everyday kindness that helps build stronger, more welcoming communities.

Here’s to the friends who support, listen, advocate, and stand together — today and every day.
