✨ Starting a planned leave until October 6, 2025. I'm taking this time to rest, reflect, spend more time with loved ones and honestly just enjoy some space for myself. ❤️ Who knows what hobbies I’ll pick up along the way!

I won’t be checking messages or seeing clients during this time, but I’ll be back in October and excited to reconnect then.

Think of mental health like physical health. One workout doesn’t make you fit, and one salad doesn’t transform your body.

✨ It takes consistent, daily choices over time.

✨ The same goes for your mind – it’s about showing up for yourself every day. It’s in the way we talk to ourselves, how we handle stress, and the support we give AND receive.

Summer can be beautiful—and busy.

The pressure to make the most of it can leave us feeling like there’s no room to slow down.

If you’re feeling stretched thin, overwhelmed, or just needing a moment to breathe– you’re not alone.

It’s OK to pause.

✨ Therapist confession: I LOVE a good self-help book…

BUT sometimes I get caught in a loop of always trying to "improve," "heal," or "fix" myself. Have you found that too? It can be exhausting.

There’s a fine line between growth and burnout.

AND sometimes– the most nourishing thing you can do is LET GO of the pressure to always be working on yourself. No goals. No fixing. Just fun.

That’s why I’m pressing pause on the self-help books this summer and giving myself permission to choose joy. Choose fun. Choose spicy reads over self-improvement. Because honestly, that is healing too. ❤️

It’s taken me a little while to put these words together — sometimes when life hits close, you need time to reflect and find the right way to hold space.

A friend and compassionate healthcare provider is navigating the shock and aftermath of a tragic accident involving the person they love— a reminder of just how precious life truly is.

✨ Life Can Change in an Instant ✨

When we’re in our 20s, it’s easy to feel invincible — like we have endless time and nothing can really touch us. I know I did, (and sometimes still do if I'm being honest). But moments like these remind us how quickly everything can change.

Sometimes a tragic accident turns the world upside down for someone we care about — and even if it’s not our direct experience, we feel the ripple.

The routines we take for granted, the people we love, the everyday moments we rush past — they can all change in a heartbeat. And the ripple effects are real, touching families, friends, workplaces, and our communities.

I’m holding close the reminder to:
❤️ Be present with the people who matter most.
❤️ Offer kindness and care wherever we can.
❤️ Appreciate the small, everyday moments in life.

As a nurse and therapist working with women in the perinatal stage of life, I’ve seen how often moms are told or tell themselves to "enjoy every moment"—even when they’re silently struggling.

✨ May is Maternal Mental Health Month, with the first Wednesday in May recognized as World Maternal Mental Health Day. These dates exist to shine a light on the often unseen emotional and mental load carried by so many mothers.

The truth is:

-You can feel grateful AND depleted.
-You can love your baby AND miss who you used to be.
-You can need help AND still be an incredible mother.

YOU'RE NOT MEANT TO DO THIS ALONE— It takes a village.

And that village doesn’t always look how you imagined. Sometimes you have to BUILD it yourself. And sometimes, you are someone else’s village, too.

Whether you’re navigating intrusive thoughts, postpartum anxiety, depression, rage, or simply feel like you’ve lost your way—you are not alone. These experiences are common, treatable, and NOT a reflection of your worth.

This month and always, I’m holding space for every mother trying to find herself again in the mess and magic of it all. ❤️

✨ 3 YEARS!!! ✨

Three years ago, I took a leap and opened the doors to my own practice — unsure where it would lead, but knowing I had something meaningful to offer.

Since then, I’ve supported women through some of life’s hardest and most beautiful moments. Each woman and journey has taught me something about courage, healing & growth.

There have been seasons of momentum and seasons of pause. In October I pivoted back into public health nursing (a first love I wasn’t ready to let go of), and started creating a way to make this ALL work for me — not the other way around.

This anniversary feels like a moment to breathe it all in — the milestones, the messy middle, the quiet wins.

I’m tearing up writing this — because it’s been HARD and BEAUTIFUL and REAL. And honestly, I’m proud.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you’ve followed from the start or just found your way here, I’m so glad to have you.❤️

Here’s to nurturing a practice that honours BOTH my purpose and my peace.

Riding the Wave during CHANGE with Flexibility, Flow, and Acceptance~

Not everything goes as planned—detours happen, schedules shift, and life unfolds in ways we never expected at times👇:

Cue health issues that force you to slow down, job changes that weren’t part of the plan, relationships shifting in ways you didn’t expect, or financial setbacks.

✨ When we cling too tightly to how things "should" be, it gives a false sense of control - leading to increased stress and frustration.

Been there? I know I have. ❤️

✨ But when we loosen our grip and stay flexible, we CREATE space for growth, ease, and even unexpected joy.

Instead of resisting, what if you let yourself FLOW with the change? TRUST yourself to adapt. You’ve done it before, and you’ll do it again.

Spring is Coming!

As the days get longer and the sun starts to shine more, it’s a great reminder of the impact light and natural warmth can have on our wellbeing. ☀️

✨ Sunlight boosts serotonin, which helps improve our mood and energy levels, making it easier to feel more balanced and present.

✨ A new season offers a chance to reset—whether by spending time outside, embracing new routines, or taking an intentional moment to check-in with YOURSELF. It’s a time for growth, not just in nature but in our personal journeys too.

I love picking up some tulips for a little pop of colour in the house this time of year—there's just something about them that makes everything feel brighter! ❤️

Wintering...

❄️ A season of slowing down, leaning into rest, and allowing yourself to just BE—without pressure to be 'doing'.

❄️ Nature teaches us that not everything is meant to thrive year-round. Some seasons are for quiet, reflection, and gathering strength for what’s next. If you’re feeling the need to retreat, to rest, to take things at your own pace… that’s okay.

❄️ You are not behind, and perhaps nothing is wrong. Maybe you are just WINTERING.

So for anyone that needs it—YOU are allowed to rest. ❤️
