Busy couple weeks
Spring is in full swing! We’ve spent a ton of time cleaning trees from the crippling ice storm, repaired fences, torn down a 125ft hoop house which had collapsed from snow load, planted and covered about 3 acres of lettuce, spinach and salad greens. Not to mention planning that’s gone into new fencing installations for multi species rotational grazing AND designing our new chick brooder for pastured poultry AND our new on farm composting systems.

It’s going to be EPIC!

What is a “whole food” diet?

A whole food diet simply means your meals are composed of individual ingredients.

In this case we’ve got a sirloin tip roast, which I pressure cooked and pulled apart with a fork. The meat is on mashed potatoes mixed with a bit of shredded Parmesan.
Then I sautĂŠed onion, ginger and Brussels sprouts and finished it with some of our famous pasture raised, fruit finished bacon!

No ultra processed foods, no preservatives, food dyes or seed oils.

Whole Foods meals can be much simpler, but with in the and less then a month to go, I’m trying to make special dinners. The home stretch can be tough and it’s nice to go the extra mile for our ladies from time to time.
