Taking a deep dive into coccyx pathology and treatment since I'll presenting on the subject matter soon. I've personally injured my tailbone twice and that's why I developed an interest in the treatment of this area.

As the clinic winds down to closing on 30th November, I'm having a few thoughts:

1. No more new patients will be able to be assessed at my clinic as of today. The schedule is almost full already right through November and I can't add any more new folks.

2. With that in mind, if you'd like to be reassessed by me, please let me know asap. Space is very limited now.

3. If you'd like to be referred to a new pelvic or oncology physio in Nelson, Trail, Cranbrook, Kimberley or Fernie, let me know and I can give you contact names, clinics and phone numbers.

4. Remember that we have brilliant offerings for women's health here in Creston. I'll continue to post about that!

And take good care.

It's a beautiful day out there and we're harvesting grains, veggies and fruits and herbs.
So much abundance!
Joanne

Scratch the highheels, but the mushroom hat looks awesome!
What if?
What if we treat ourselves as we would our bestie?
Just for a few minutes, maybe an hour or perhaps a whole day?
How would that feel?

As I take steps toward retirement in 10ish weeks, I think of reminding friends, neighbours, family and patients of the richness of folks in our valley who are here to help women in our health journey.
Candi is someone I recommend often.

Hello again 💛 It’s been a little while since I’ve appeared here. I took time this summer to slow down, recalibrate, and deepen my journey of holistic healing. I’ve missed this space, and I’m pleased to reconnect.

For those new here, I’m Candi a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Certified Life Coach based in Creston, BC. I also work as a nutritionist and guide for one of the world’s top-rated health reset programs in the Kootenays. I grew up surrounded by these mountains, where nature has always been my greatest teacher.

Summer is my favourite season, filled with hikes, mountain biking, paddleboarding, and lazy days at the lake (I even learned to crochet this year thanks to my best friend and her daughters!). But now, as the days grow shorter and the air turns cooler, I find myself craving rhythm, routine, and grounding once more. Just as the trees change and gardens overflow with coloured peppers, squash, and root vegetables, our bodies also align with the seasons—seeking quieter evenings, nourishing foods, and deeper connections.

That’s the core of my work: supporting women in finding time to move their bodies in nature, reflect, connect, and nourish. And as a little sneak peek — I’m excited to be launching a new Fall Hiking + Holistic Wellness Program in October that brings all these elements together. More details will follow soon.

For now, I’d love to know, what’s been grounding you as we head into this new season? 🍂✨

Knowing the symptoms of breast cancer—and getting screened when there are none—could save your life. Now that you know there are 12, test your breast IQ to see if you’re fully aware.
