Why a Massage Helps… but Doesn’t Always Last

A 30-minute massage can feel great and absolutely has its place — but when pain keeps coming back, it’s often a sign the body needs more than spot treatment.

As I continue my training toward posture therapy certification, I’m learning how connected the body truly is. Pain usually isn’t coming from just one area — the back is often the signal, not the source.

Posture is a full-body system. Tight hips, limited shoulder movement, weak glutes, restricted ankles, and daily habits all influence how stress loads into the spine.

That’s why I work with the body as a whole — not just the symptom — to support more lasting change.

While I complete my certification, I’m offering posture-focused sessions at a special introductory price, most likely until the end of February.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted — but don’t worry, Magic Fingers Clinic is still here. I simply slowed down a little to let my wrists rest after 37 years of massage. Even therapists need some healing too.

The exciting news is that I’ve started training in Posture Therapy! 🎉 While the full training will take me a few months to complete, I’m already able to share parts of it with you.
Posture Therapy helps the body realign, ease pain, and move more freely — and it fits beautifully alongside massage.

I’m looking forward to adding more of this work as I continue my training, and I’m so grateful for your continued support on this journey.
