Join us for a fantastic Wild Food Foraging workshop!

Sunday, May 3/26
10:00 am - 2:00pm

This exciting class is led by wild food foraging aficionado, Laura Jany, and will see participants going out into the Creston Valley to find edible wild plants. She will share the many ways that these plants can be used for food, the different parts of the plants that can be used, and the best times to harvest them. After you harvest, you will learn recipes to use your wild ingredients in an interactive cooking demo. Dress for all types of weather and terrain.

Cost is $89 +GST and includes a light, wild food lunch.

It's a perfect day in our Valley and an amazing day to harvest violets!

We're always formulating new creations at the shop, and our latest is floral syrups. Our first one is Wild Violet and Vanilla Bean syrup and should be on the shelf later this Spring.

We'll also be extracting these fragrant treasures for coughs, colds and cleansing the lymphatic system, as well as adding them to salves and creams to help heal skin conditions.

Watch for further updates on our line of syrups. We know you'll definitely love them ❤️

Kids Growing Herbs

The first of our Herbie Kids classes of the year, Kids Growing Herbs is a chance for your child to learn about herbs in a fun, exciting way and starting the season off we're playing in the dirt! Kids will learn how to grow herbs from seeds, how to divide existing herbs and creative ways to plant them. Register now as we only have a few spaces still available.

Saturday April 25/26
10:00 a.m. - noon (5 to 7 years old)
1 p.m. - 3 p.m. (8 to 12 years old)

Cost is $45 +GST per child. ($15 off for each additional child from the same family)

From March 31st until April 11th Tilia Botanicals is honoured to be hosting a gorgeous quilt at our store that you COULD WIN by making a donation to the library. It doesn't matter how large or small your donation is you still get your name in the draw to win this beautiful prize. If your donation is $20 or over, you can receive a tax receipt. The quilt will be traveling to other stores and events in town, so if you miss it at our shop there are other chance to enter. If you'd like to see it at our shop we're located at 115 - 20th ave. S.

Congratulations to Susie B., winner of our Great Easter Egg Hunt sale. Susie won 100% off her whole purchase. She was thrilled because she had just learned about creating essential oil blends at our blending bar, and she got her essential oils free!

For those of you who haven't experienced our essential oil blending bar, it is a fun, educational experience where our trained staff help you create your own perfumes and diffuser blends. Since starting the bar in 2023, it has been a massive hit with customers, and we know you love it too! ❤️

Have you ever wanted to learn how to turn botanical herbs, flowers, and essential oils into wonderful-smelling, healthy, and sustainable perfumes? In this class you will be introduced to the art and techniques of crafting oil-based, alcohol-based, and solid perfumes. Each student will have a chance to create their own unique blends from a variety of plant-based ingredients.

Cost is $59 +GST and includes different types of perfumes to take home.

This month we are featuring recipes for elegant but easy Herbes de Provence Braised Lamb Shanks and Gloriously Garlic Skillet Buns. Every month our newsletter includes at least two delicious recipes, a write-up on an herb of the month, updates on classes & events, herbal medicine tips & tricks, great sales and more!

We will be hiding “Easter Eggs” all over our store for you to find. Inside will be a sale tag that gives you anywhere from 10% to 100% OFF* your purchase that day. That's right, one lucky egg hunter will even find an egg to receive their purchase FREE, so come in and join us for some fun this Easter Weekend!

Unfortunately, with the start of gardening season, the aches and pains are here once again too. Don't worry we have help on the way for you! We have a wide assortment of incredible products, all formulated and made in store using the finest organic, all natural ingredients.

Everything from our "Achy All Over" Bath Salts and fabulous healing Arnica cream, to our cooling menthol rich Minty Muscle Ease Sticks and our incredibly popular BFC deep healing salve are perfect for helping you keep the aches at bay while you get your garden whipped into shape.
