This morning I called to my son, “look at the light!” He lifted my camera from the window and caught it—the way autumn arrives quietly, with gold in its hands.

A glowing moment.

Nothing more, nothing less—just sharing beauty as it is. No message, no performance. Just light meeting morning.

Bow to your inner well 💧 within your belly, breath, and bone. 🧡

What impacts one family impacts us all.
Today, September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation — a day to remember the children taken from their families, honour the survivors of residential schools, and reflect on how their stories shape our shared history.

Taking moments on and beyond this day to nurture hard conversations is essential for creating space for deeper relational understanding.

In honouring the stories of those impacted by assimilation and colonization, we remember the importance of healing our collective and personal relationships, and the living history of where we call home.

With a filled-to-the-brim room, we attended the opening of ‘s exhibit 🧡Hope for a Better World🧡 last weekend — I highly recommend local folks attend. It is open today and runs until November 15, 2025.

🧡To acknowledge and respect the healing process: for those who weep at this exhibit, there is a box to collect tear-filled tissues.

Tears, a sacred part of grief, will be disposed of in an honourable way at the end of the exhibit.

We, the Honey Womb community, acknowledge that our coaching and support vision was birthed on the lands of the K’omoks First Nation. Traditional keepers of this land include the Pentlatch, E’iksan & K’omoks peoples, whose care and ancestral connections to the ‘land of plenty’ continue since time immemorial.

We express our deep respect and gratitude for all Elders — past, present, and emerging. Honey Womb’s work weaves matriarchal power that gathers on many lands, and we pay respect to the traditional stewards of each of these places.

We strive to strengthen our collaboration with Indigenous peoples in order to further our understanding and our connections to ourselves and to our expanding community.
