Owning a small business is a dream for many of us—a way to serve our community, create jobs, and share something we’re passionate about. But lately, it’s been incredibly discouraging.
Imagine working hard every day, pouring your heart into your business, only to face constant false claims and fraud—people demanding refunds for food they didn’t even order in our establishment or making up complaints just to get free meals. How many times did we get a call trying to scam us and when we get details and customers found we are checking cctv that they hung up on us?
It’s heartbreaking. 💔
Unlike big corporations, small businesses don’t have the luxury of absorbing these losses. Every false claim takes away from our ability to pay our employees, keep our doors open, and continue serving the community. With rising costs, inflation, and economic struggles, we’re already fighting to survive. These dishonest actions only make it harder.
We know times are tough for everyone, but small businesses are the heart of our neighborhoods. We’re here to serve you, to bring something special to our community. But we need your support—not just as customers, but as people who understand the value of honesty and fairness.
If you love a small business, please support them. Leave a kind review, recommend them to friends, and most importantly, don’t take advantage of them. We’re all in this together. 🩷
