"Did you know"-Community Pharmacy Primary Care Clinic (CPPCC)?

Our Clinic (and most CPPCC locations) is a "Primary Care Clinic", but this does not mean it is a "Walk-In" Clinic. Often we see clients thinking these two terms are the same, but the key piece of information is that our clinic is accessed BY APPOINTMENT (and not by walking in).

Appointments can be made online at https://medicineshoppedartmouth.medmeapp.ca/schedule . Our clinic opens appointments usually a week in advance so if you don't see something available right away - please keep checking.

We Need your help! :)
We are looking for POSITIVE Google Reviews (Please!).

One of the downsides that has come with being part of the Pharmacy Primary Care Pilot is that there is often a lack of understanding from the public on what this new service means and looks like (i.e. folks don't always understand that we are not a walk-in clinic, and don't know what is truly in our scope to be able to treat, etc.).

This sometimes results in frustrated clients who turn to Google reviews to vent. Although we aim to answer and address all reviews - the impact on us (as a small family-run business trying to provide healthcare....and as a team doing everything in our power to help the public) is significant.

This is where we need your help - if you have had a positive experience in our Pharmacy and/or Primary Care clinic and have time to post a review - we would really appreciate it!

📢 RE: Proposed U.S. pharmaceutical tariffs

💊 In response to President Trump’s announcement about possible 200% tariffs on pharmaceuticals, we want to reassure Canadians that there is no immediate impact on our drug supply.

🧾 At this stage, the tariffs are not official policy — there's been no formal announcement or detailed plan. Based on yesterday's statement, implementation would be at least 12 to 18 months away. There’s no reason for Canadians to panic or rush to the

🌍 That said, these proposed tariffs could affect the broader global pharmaceutical supply chain, and any disruption may have downstream effects on Canada over time.

🍁 We're encouraged that Canada hasn’t included pharmaceuticals on any retaliatory tariff lists — and we strongly support keeping it that way.

CPhA is working closely with federal officials to help ensure our drug supply remains protected and that Canadian patients continue to have reliable access to the medications they need.

✅ TL;DR: No immediate impact on Canadian drug supply from proposed U.S. tariffs — we’re monitoring closely and working to protect access.
