Want to take a trip with me?

Thursday Somatic Yin Yoga class we will travel via the “planes of the pelvis”.

The pelvis is the central hub in our body for mobility, stability, and load distribution so it is important to keep it healthy and aligned. Doing so may help improve your overall functional movement and decrease lower back pain.

Heal and Reset
When we experience chronic stress and anxiety, they can build up in the body and portray as muscle tension, shallow breathing, and/or digestive concerns. This can trigger our nervous system, making it a challenge to find relaxation or of feeling safe.

Somatic yoga works by gently healing from the inside out. Through slow, mindful pendiculative movements, deep breathing, and intentional moments of stillness, somatic yoga helps to release stored tension and regulate the nervous system.
