We have been asked to share information about the Nova Scotia Waitlist Settlement.

A class action lawsuit against the Province of Nova Scotia was approved by the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia on November 12, 2025. This $34 million Settlement will pay claims to people who were waitlisted or placed in institutions, nursing homes, or hospitals while they were eligible for Disability Support Program services between April 1, 1998, and August 20, 2025.

The Annual Shubie Park Winterfest is this Saturday!

Bundle up and drop by Shubie Park this Saturday, February 7 between 4pm and 6pm for some Winter fun!

Winterfest activities include a bonfire, live music, hot chocolate, donuts, a mascot dance off, police cars, fire trucks, search and rescue vehicles, police horse, sledding, crafts and more.❄️🛷☃️
