A gentle reminder ....there's so much hardship and negativity in the world right now that it can be overwhelming.
Constantly consuming negative news doesn’t make you more caring or more aware.
It makes you anxious.
It dysregulates your nervous system.
And it quietly convinces you the world is darker than it actually is.
Somewhere along the way, we learned that if we’re not paying attention to everything that’s wrong, we’re irresponsible or insensitive.
But while we’re busy absorbing fear, we miss the subtle truths right in front of us: moments of beauty, opportunities to act, the quiet ways we can actually make a difference.
You can care deeply about the world without living in a constant state of alarm.
Fear is not awareness.
Anxiety is not a requirement for compassion.
Staying grounded isn’t avoidance.
It’s how you stay present, for who and what actually matters. Control what is within your circle to control,
Impact and influence where you can and spread kindness always! Remember the care, compassion and kindness you extend to others, to also extend to yourself! h
