Healing gardening with incredible folks🌼❤️✨
EcoTherapy for grief this Mother’s Day weekend was such a healing experience. Just being with grieving parents as they created such beautiful, meaningful tribute garden boxes was very moving.
We owe so much to therapist Jennifer Giffen of Oliver’s Offerings for her kind invitation. This second retreat for grieving parents at August House in Windsor is pure magic and we highly recommend this meaningful experience.

Jennifer’s parents created the pine boxes with repurposed rope handles for ease of moving. Simply gorgeous! Big thanks for your skills.

The generosity of Cathy Oulton and her Bloom Greenhouse team provided an array of candy coloured bedding plants. Huge thanks to Nardin for donating gorgeous succulents and seeds!
Halifax Seed Company provided an overwhelming supply of beautiful bulbs to help folks add to or create in-ground tribute gardens. There were so many that we can now offer them to non-profit organizations. We did a little guerrilla gardening near the beautiful venue to see if a rainbow pops up with the help of spring rain and nature’s magic. Thank-you to Lakeland Plantworld for donating a gift-card. Thanks for the idea Kelly Carrington, RMT💫

What impacted Marjie and I the most was the sense of courage and community. Parents and volunteer helpers engaged in this experience with such openness and care.

This is the healing power of eco-therapy. Feet on ground, hands in the dirt, all senses engaged in natures beauty and hope for growth.

Happy National Social Work month💫
Amanda and I are inviting child protection social workers to an afternoon of deep relaxation and healing time compassionately curated to address chronic stress.

When: March 22 from 1-4 pm.
This is the first of monthly offerings with helper’s unique needs in minds.
