Volunteer experiences are fun AND giving back to the IWK!
We’ve been so grateful for the incredible support and help we’ve received in the past, but the House of Doom has grown bigger than us so this year we’re reaching out for a little more — especially during the build and breakdown season.
This year we’re trying something new: a Live Task List 📋✨
During build season aka now until post Halloween, you can browse a list of behind-the-scenes jobs and pick what fits your schedule. Tasks may pop up in random order as we think of them — anything from moving cinderblocks, grabbing batteries at Costco, or picking up hay bales, to lending Dan or Canon an extra set of hands on build days.
👉 This list is for prep, build, and teardown tasks only * a few special actinghg roles that require skills or practice are here too.
We’ll still be looking for people to commit to shifts and roles during the event nights (actors, crowd control, food & drink, etc.) — those sign-ups will come later.
✨ No experience needed — just a willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive in! Some tasks are best taken by someone with special skills.
✨ A great way to give back and even involve you and your teen in something fun and meaningful.
✨ Every little bit helps — even one task makes a huge difference.
