✨ Welcome to the Team, Taylor! ✨

Taylor is originally from Perth, Ontario, she has called Dawson Creek home for the past three years. Her journey into massage therapy grew from a lifelong interest in healing and helping others. After taking the leap to pursue that passion, she completed the 2200-hour Massage Therapy Program at the Alberta College of Massage Therapy in Grande Prairie. Through her training, she has developed a deep appreciation for the power of therapeutic touch and the body’s natural ability to restore balance and well-being. She is dedicated to providing individualized care, helping clients reduce pain, relieve stress, and support their overall wellness.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys camping, canoeing, and exploring the area’s natural beauty. Fun Fact: She is a Cape Breton-trained fiddle player

Taylor will be offering 60 and 90 minute massages starting May 19th, to book please click the link in our bio or call/text 250-467-2017

Spring Cleaning—For Your Nervous System 🌸📍
We usually think of "Spring Cleaning" for our homes, but what about your body?
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Spring is the season of the Liver. When your Liver Qi is flowing smoothly, you feel creative, motivated, and emotionally balanced. When it becomes stuck (Qi Stagnation), it can show up as irritability, tension, and a sense of tightness in the body.
You might notice:
🌿 Frustration or mood swings
🌿 Tension in the neck, shoulders, or jaw
🌿 A feeling of being physically or emotionally “stuck”
Acupuncture helps gently encourage the smooth movement of Qi—releasing tension, restoring balance, and supporting your body’s natural flow. As things begin to move again, many people notice a greater sense of ease, clarity, and more steady energy day to day.

What a “Reset” May Feel Like
🌿 Deeper, more restful sleep
🌿 Less physical tension (especially jaw, neck, shoulders)
🌿 A greater sense of calm and clarity
🌿 Energy that feels steady and refreshed
Don’t just wait for the season to change—align with it. Clear the internal stagnation and let your energy move the way it was meant to this Spring 🌸

If you’re constantly stretching but still feel tight… this is for you 👇
You stretch your neck, shoulders, back… it helps for a minute—then the tension comes right back 😩
That’s usually not a flexibility problem.
A lot of chronic tightness comes from muscles that don’t know how to switch off.
Stress, posture, and long days at a desk keep your body stuck in that pattern 🔁
So even when you stretch… it doesn’t last.
Acupuncture + cupping work differently ✨ They help your body actually let go—so your muscles can finally relax 🙌
If your tension always comes back, it might not need more stretching… it might need a reset 💆‍♀️

Spring Thaw Reset
It feels like winter is holding on a little longer than usual this year. Even though the calendar says spring, the lingering cold and gray skies can leave you feeling physically and mentally "stuck" in a season that’s overstayed its welcome.
When the weather stays heavy, our bodies tend to do the same. This "stuck" feeling is often our nervous system stuck in a loop—holding onto physical tension, sluggish circulation, and a lingering "hibernation" fog.
How acupuncture helps you transition:
Circulation Boost: It signals the body to increase blood flow and oxygen to tissues that have been "tight" or cold all winter.
Nervous System Reset: It helps shift you out of "survival mode" and into a state of rest and recovery, lowering cortisol levels that can spike during long, stressful seasons.
Inflammation Support: By stimulating specific points, we can help the body regulate its natural anti-inflammatory response, easing those cold-weather aches in the joints and muscles.
Acupuncture provides that essential internal shift. We help clear the stagnation and "thaw out" your system so you can finally match the rising energy of spring—even if the thermometer hasn’t quite caught up yet.
Let’s shake off the long winter, get you back in flow, and add that little 'spring' in your step.

✨ You don’t have to wait until burnout.
It’s easy to push through…
“I’ll rest later.”
“It’s just a busy week.”
“I’m fine.”
But those small signs your body is sending? They matter.
🌿 Trouble sleeping
🌿 Constant tension in your neck & shoulders
🌿 Feeling overwhelmed or more irritable than usual
🌿 Low energy—even after resting
This is your body asking for support—not something to ignore.
Acupuncture helps regulate your nervous system, improve sleep, and bring your body back into balance before you hit that breaking point.
💫 It’s not just about fixing burnout—it’s about preventing it.
You’re allowed to take care of yourself now, not just when things feel unmanageable.

We are so pleased to welcome Anika Dayus back to our team 🤍

Many of you may remember Anika from previous years, when she completed her practicum with us. After taking some time away from the massage world, we are truly grateful to have her return and share her gifts once again.

Anika is now offering services as a Relaxation Therapist (please note she is not a Registered Therapist). She brings with her a high level of professionalism, a deeply holistic approach, and the ability to create a calming, restorative experience for every client she treats.

Originally from Alaska, Anika has called Dawson Creek home for the past 14 years. She completed her 1000-hour Spa Practitioner Certification, specializing in Swedish relaxation massage with a focus on overall well-being and individualized care.

Her passion for health and helping others is evident in every session, supporting clients in feeling balanced, restored, and truly cared for.

Outside of the clinic, Anika enjoys time with her husband and their two corgis, and finds inspiration in nature and the ocean—elements that beautifully reflect the calm, grounding energy she brings into her work.

We are so happy to have you back, Anika ✨

🌿 Acupuncture for Sciatica Relief 🌿
Struggling with sciatica pain? You’re not alone. Sciatica occurs when the sciatic nerve becomes irritated or compressed, causing pain that can travel from the lower back down through the hips, buttocks, and legs.
Acupuncture offers a natural, drug-free way to help manage sciatica symptoms. By stimulating specific points on the body, acupuncture can help:
✨ Reduce inflammation
✨ Relax tight muscles
✨ Improve circulation
✨ Support the body’s natural pain-relief response
✨ Promote nerve healing and recovery
Many patients report reduced pain, improved mobility, and better overall comfort after a series of treatments.
If you’re dealing with shooting leg pain, numbness, or lower back discomfort, acupuncture may help you get back to moving with ease.
