Students at Mackenzie Community School showed their support for the Food Bank this week with a donation of food and a cheque! With the help of teacher Paula Leclair, they put on the musical “The One Stop Happiness Shop” on Friday, March 27th with the entrance fee being either a non perishable food item or monetary donation if possible. They are already working on ideas for next year's musical! Thank you!!

Loblaws Companies are holding a food drive to assist food banks across Canada. Drop a donation in our bin at Ashley’s Independent. Donations are weighed each week from March 19 to April 5. Based on weight, Loblaws makes a financial donation to our local food bank. A double win and double thanks!
