"I want to basically be somebody important, I suppose" said Keith Lawton. The boy from Bell Island, NL, with a little less than $500 in cash and a $5,000 bank loan began the first Lawtons Drug Stores in Halifax after working in his father's pharmacy on Bell Island, NL. He built one of the largest pharmacy chains in Atlantic Canada.
