DHCH Foundation was thrilled to participate as a Charity Partner in last month’s Barnside Harvest Festival, which welcomed more than 25,000 visitors to Ladner over the three day weekend. Thanks to a special promo code, $10 from every ticket sold using “DHCHF” was donated to support Delta Hospital. 171 tickets were sold using this code and raised $1,710 to support priority equipment needs at the Delta Hospital Campus of Care. We are incredibly grateful to Barnside Harvest Festival organizers who dedicated their time, energy, and enthusiasm to making this year’s Barnside Harvest Festival such a wonderful success and to everyone who purchased tickets using our promo code. As we celebrate Respiratory Care Week, we want to acknowledge the vital role respiratory therapists play in patient care, particularly in managing critical conditions and providing life-saving respiratory support. Delta Hospital acquired a state-of-the-art Hamilton T1 Ventilator with support from TB Vets Charitable Foundation, enhancing our ability to deliver uninterrupted care to critically ill patients during emergency transport. This advanced equipment ensures essential oxygen and tidal volume delivery through various methods. Thank you, TB Vets for your continued support!

We are sincerely grateful to the Tsawwassen Shrine Club no. 31 for their recent donation of $5,235.93! This local service club dedicates their efforts to promoting innovative pediatric specialty care, world-class research, and outstanding medical education – inspiring them to help fund a Vein Viewer for Delta Hospital’s Surgical Daycare. Vein Viewers create a map of patients’ veins, allowing hospital staff to target the correct IV location which is particularly helpful during procedures on young patients as their veins are smaller and more difficult to locate. The Tsawwassen Shrine Club’s generosity is deeply appreciated, and will make a profound difference on patient care right here at the Delta Hospital Campus of Care.
