Due to the overnight snowfall with a forecast of more heavy snow, we will be cancelling today's appointments to ensure the safety of our staff and patients. See you at Diefenbaker for some sledding instead?

Today was supposed to be our last day before winter break... but Mother Nature had different plans. Unfortunately due to the snowfall and the risks of driving we will be closed today, and will reopen on Thursday January 5th.

We believe in being pro-active! It's always great to see kids around 7 or 8 years old so that we can catch any potential problems that are developing, and manage them appropriately.

Why so early you ask?

It's because this is the age when the first adult teeth often start to show up and orthodontists can check for difficulties in normal tooth development and provide treatment that can allow teeth and jaws to develop to their best potential. Your child could be started with "Phase One" treatment, or interceptive orthodontics, meaning heading problems off at the pass!

Most of the time no treatment is recommended. But, it can be a great opportunity for kids and families to meet an orthodontist and get familiarized with the office and procedures.
