As many of you may have noticed, the clinic has become busier. This is partly due to the exciting addition of Dr. Thomson to our team, as well as the clinic being fully staffed with allied health professionals. Our medical team now includes seven members, alongside services such as LifeLabs, Living Room Pharmacy deliveries, Public Health, and Spectra Health practitioners.
With these increased services and providers, reaching the clinic by phone can sometimes be challenging. To help ease the workload on our front desk team, we encourage you to book appointments online if you have internet access via a computer or smartphone to help reduce the volume of calls.
In the coming weeks, we will be updating how we handle phone calls and return messages.
We understand that not everyone has access to the internet or mobile phones, and we remain committed to responding to your calls promptly. For those who do have access, you may have started receiving appointment reminders via text or email.
When you visit the clinic, please check in with the front desk to ensure we have your updated email address and mobile number if applicable. While we will continue to call those who need phone reminders, we encourage everyone with email or text capabilities to update their contact information to reduce the volume of reminder calls.
