WOW! big day today at Corium. Our very own Dr. Maillet-Lebel was elected by her fellow Canadian dermatologist to be the 2027 President of the Canadian Dermatology Association. Beginning in June she will start on a 4 year journey that will see her hold the positions of Vice-President, incoming President, President, and outgoing President. This is a major milestone for a physician in her 6th year of practice and it will provide an amazing opportunity for the young and upcoming dermatologists of Canada to have a say in the future of the specialty. As the dermatology field continues to evolve by leaps and bounds and advanced technology begins to take up more room in the day to day lives of physicians we are very proud to see Dr. Maillet-Lebel take on this position and we know she will be an amazing voice for all Canadian Dermatologists! Congratulations!

✨ Golden Glow Tips: How to Apply Self-Tanner Like a Pro! ✨
Ready to get that sun-kissed look without the UV damage? 🌞 Here’s how to apply self-tanner and get the most flawless, streak-free glow:

1. Exfoliate First! 🧴
Gently exfoliate your skin to remove dead cells and avoid patchy spots. Focus on rough areas like elbows, knees, and ankles. Smooth skin = even tan!

2. Moisturize (but not too much!) 💧
Apply a light layer of moisturizer to dry spots. Avoid thick creams—this can create barriers to the tanner.

3. Use a Mitt! 🧤
A tanning mitt gives you control and prevents stained palms. Trust me—your hands will thank you!

4. Apply in Sections 📏
Work in sections (legs, arms, torso). This helps you blend well and avoid missing spots. Always use circular motions for smooth coverage.

5. Let It Dry, Baby! ⏳
Wait at least 10-15 minutes before dressing. The longer you can wait, the better. Don’t forget to wash your hands after!

6. Don’t Forget Your Face! 🌟
For a natural glow, apply a little self-tanner to your face—mix it with your moisturizer for a more subtle effect.

7. Be Patient! ⏰
Give it a few hours to develop and take it slow. You can always add a second layer if you want a deeper tan.

8. Apply sunscreen every day!
You still need to protect your skin with sunscreen. Be sure that your sunscreen offers all of the following: SPF 30 or higher, Broad-spectrum protection (UVA/UBV) and water resistance
