Health Partners International of Canada We work to increase the access to essential medicines and healthcare services to people living in vulnerable communities around the globe.

Health Partners International of Canada (HPIC) is a humanitarian not-for-profit relief and development organization dedicated to improving access to medicine and enhancing health in the developing world. HPIC contributes to well-being by providing donated essential medicines, supplies and vaccines, building national health sector capacities, and responding to emergencies and health threats. We partner with a network of ministries of health, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and healthcare professionals, with pharmaceutical and healthcare product companies, and with Canadian government departments; and we count on the financial support of individual donors, foundations and corporations. Because of our unique model, HPIC multiplies every donated dollar to provide, without discrimination, at least $10 of free medical aid.

These Humanitarian Medical Kits (HMKs) will greatly assist CMAT - Canadian Medical Assistance Teams medical professionals with their upcoming humanitarian medical mission in Jamaica. CMAT Emergency Medical Teams are heading to some of the hardest-hit areas of the country in the aftermath of the catastrophic Category 5 Hurricane Melissa.
๐Ÿ’ŠHMKs are โ€œpharmacies in a box,โ€ packed with essential medicines and medical supplies such as antibiotics, antihypertensives, anti-inflammatories, analgesics, cardiac medicines, dressings, and other critical medications.
With these kits, CMAT medical volunteers will have the essential medicines they need to support the continuity of primary healthcare amidst widespread flooding, infrastructure damage, and major disruptions to medical services and facilities.
