Health Partners International of Canada We work to increase the access to essential medicines and healthcare services to people living in vulnerable communities around the globe.

Health Partners International of Canada (HPIC) is a humanitarian not-for-profit relief and development organization dedicated to improving access to medicine and enhancing health in the developing world. HPIC contributes to well-being by providing donated essential medicines, supplies and vaccines, building national health sector capacities, and responding to emergencies and health threats. We par

tner with a network of ministries of health, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and healthcare professionals, with pharmaceutical and healthcare product companies, and with Canadian government departments; and we count on the financial support of individual donors, foundations and corporations. Because of our unique model, HPIC multiplies every donated dollar to provide, without discrimination, at least $10 of free medical aid.

Health Partners International of Canada (HPIC) has issued an urgent call for support to deliver life-saving medications to families across Lebanon, where a deepening humanitarian crisis continues to unfold. Escalating conflict in the southern region, mass displacement of civilians, extensive damage to critical infrastructure, and an unstable economy have left millions without access to vital medical care.

Through our established network of trusted local partners, we're working to ensure essential medicines reach the communities that need them most. We've been overwhelmed by the generous response from our pharmaceutical and medical supply partners, who have answered our call with urgent donations.

Approximately 600 men, women, and children in El Progreso, Guatemala, will receive the medical care they need thanks to the dedication of Dr. David Fernandes and the medical mission team from Mountainview Christian Reformed Church in Grimsby, Ontario.
Carrying nearly 100 pounds of medicine in portable Humanitarian Medical Kits (HMKs), the team partnered with the DIG Guatemala medical clinic in the mountain communities of Valencia and Salatrillo, home to the Maya peoples, to provide essential treatment for patients who otherwise have no access to medicine.

The donated medicines will be used to treat a range of common and chronic conditions, including hypertension, Type 2 diabetes, gastritis, bacterial and parasitic infections, and skin rashes.

For many families in El Progreso, the cost of medicine is far beyond reach. The donations brought by mission teams like Mountainview CRC are often the only source of medical relief available. Through their compassion and service, Dr. Fernandes and the team have brought not only physical healing but also renewed hope to a community in need.

Lors de la Semaine nationale des bรฉnรฉvoles, Partenaires en santรฉ internationaux du Canada (HPIC) a eu l'honneur d'accueillir plus de 20 bรฉnรฉvoles dรฉvouรฉs ร  un Thรฉ spรฉcial en l'honneur des bรฉnรฉvoles dans nos bureaux de Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, au Quรฉbec. Cette rencontre a รฉtรฉ une cรฉlรฉbration sincรจre de la compassion, du temps et de l'รฉnergie que nos bรฉnรฉvoles consacrent chaque annรฉe ร  la mission de HPIC.

Les bรฉnรฉvoles sont vรฉritablement l'รฉpine dorsale de HPIC. Leur engagement permet ร  notre petite mais puissante รฉquipe de fournir, en moyenne, 20 millions de dollars de mรฉdicaments et de fournitures mรฉdicales salvateurs chaque annรฉe ร  certaines des communautรฉs les plus vulnรฉrables du monde. During National Volunteer Week, Health Partners International of Canada (HPIC) was honoured to welcome more than 20 dedicated volunteers to a special Volunteer Appreciation Tea at our Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec office. The gathering was a heartfelt celebration of the compassion, time, and energy that our volunteers pour into HPICโ€™s mission every year.
Volunteers are truly the backbone of HPIC. Their commitment makes it possible for our small but mighty team to deliver, on average, $20 million worth of life-saving medicines and medical supplies each year to some of the worldโ€™s most vulnerable communities. From sorting and packing medicines to crafting Izzy Dolls that bring comfort to children in crisis, every volunteer plays a vital role in restoring health and hope around the globe.
As HPIC continues to expand its reach across more than 130 countries, the support of volunteers remains at the heart of every success story. Together, we are building a healthier worldโ€”one act of kindness at a time.

These remarkable individuals selflessly donate their time and talent to bring joy and comfort to children in crisis around the world. Each handmade Izzy Doll carries a message of care, compassion, and hope โ€” a small gift that makes a big difference in the lives of those who need it most.
