Ashwaghanda sleep study by Deshpande et al. 2020.

144 tested subjects (double blind) 6 week testing demonstrated significant improvements in sleep onset, total sleep time & decreased wakefulness in the ashwaghanda group.
**
Also subjective questionnaire showed improvements in quality of life in treatment group.
**
I personally use ashwaghanda 1-3x per week and find it to significantly improve my sleep. I feel great in the the next day 😌. I recommend 1500 mg 30 mins before bed, make sure you get root sourced.
**
Many other studies demonstrate that Ashwaghanda has neuroprotective effects and potentially improves cognitive function and learning.

Sleep is underrated for your health & performance at so many levels.

Food is much more than just calories, macros and micros. Plant foods are like an ocean filled with compounds we don't even know exist!

As the science of nutrition slowly evolves, our understanding of the intricate connection to food and human health expands.

Each unique food grown from our dear mother earth contains a plethora of unique chemical compounds. Some support our daily metabolism and energy production, while others are showing the potential cure or mitigate the risk of certain diseases.

One area of research surrounding apples has discovered that they contain some compounds that can prevent, slow or even kill certain cancerous lesions.

One such compounds is called phloretin. It has been shown to starve cancels specifically by blocking their glucose fuel uptake.

I always like to start my day off with a high protein breakfast.

Sufficient morning protein will stop muscle loss from the overnight fast and curb hunger.

A shake is an easy solution to a busy morning.

My favorite shake is the chocolate banana:

1 cup milk / coconut milk
+
1 scoop protein (I prefer slow digesting blended protein jn the mornings)
+
1 tbsp. H**p hearts (Fiber and Omega 3)
+
1 tbsp. Org. Cocoa powder for a ruch taste (loaded with magnesium, zinc and quercetin)
+
1/2 frozen banana (Potassiun/fiber)
+
Maca root (energy + s*x drive ;) -->makes you feel great, I personally believe it increase your CHI energy)

I honestly crush the shake variation at least 7x10 per week.
Its easy, nutritious, delicious, and low in kcal (~400 kcal)
