The GL 480 Garden Lofts come with a full kitchen, a combined living and dining space, one bedroom that fits a Queen sized bed, lots of storage and an accessible bathroom with laundry. The interior and exterior finishes can be customized. This unit installed in Calgary in 2022 has white oak floors, high gloss lacquer cabinets and maratime white wood wall paneling.

We work with our customers to design a site plan that integrates the Garden Loft, deck and landscaping. For this GL 480 unit installed in Edmonton in 2023, we created a common deck that connects the back door of the house to the front door of the Garden Loft. We set the floor height of the Garden Loft to the same floor height as the house to make sure everything is accessible without needing to use the stairs.

We install our Garden Loft units using a tall crane that can reach into your back yard. Our units come in two sizes and have been designed to fit into most standard lots. We currently have projects in Ontario, Alberta and BC. This photo was taken in 2023 showing a GL 480 unit being installed into a backyard in Edmonton. We take care of all the permits and the installation.

We are currently working on Garden Loft projects in Alberta, Ontario and British Columbia. The units are built in our factory in Calgary and delivered by truck to site. This GL 480 unit was installed in the Edmonton neighborhood of Capilano in 2023. The resident is a 92 years old and loves living in her daughter’s backyard.

Our newest Garden Loft unit will soon be heading to Ottawa, Ontario. It’s nearing completion in our factory in Calgary. This is a one bedroom GL 480 model.
