This client has truly become dear to my heart. When she first came to me, she had lost all hope. Doctors had told her there was nothing more that could be done. She had endured significant trauma to her legs—multiple basal cell carcinoma removals, a traumatic dog incident—and her body was struggling to recover. From the knees down, blood flow was almost non-existent. The swelling was severe, edema was setting in, her legs showed deep pitting, and the top of her left foot had a visible indentation. Her skin was painfully tight, with layers of scar tissue and fascia damage restricting any movement.
But giving up was never an option.
I designed a personalized treatment plan combining lymphatic drainage, blood flow restoration, and fascia therapy. I formulated a specialized lymphatic cream just for her and gave her simple, consistent home care routines. She committed to weekly sessions, and together we got to work.
Today, after just five sessions, the transformation is nothing short of incredible. The color is returning to her legs. The swelling has significantly reduced. Edema and pitting are almost completely gone. The indentation on her left foot has disappeared. And the blood flow—oh, the blood flow—is now radiating life back into her legs. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but these results are speaking volumes.
This case challenged me in every way, but it also reinforced why I love what I do. I’m endlessly grateful to my client for trusting me with her healing journey. I’m also beyond thankful to Dr. Perry Nickelston for his groundbreaking work in lymphatic and blood flow therapy, and for personally guiding me through her treatment. To Loren Valvasori, thank you for teaching me to trust the body’s innate power to heal with the right tools and knowledge. And to Jess Camp, your unwavering mentorship continues to push me to be the best version of myself.
Today, my heart is full. I will never stop learning, growing, and dedicating myself to this path—to help, to heal, and to bring hope back where it was once lost.
