All jokes aside, here are 3 simple ways to get the most out of your massage.💆🏼‍♀️

#1 DRINK MORE WATER💦: It is crucial to stay hydrated after a treatment, as it helps in flushing out toxins and aids in muscle recovery. Another factor is that massage can cause headaches due to increased blood flow and circulation to the head and neck, which is common with most individuals. Remember a hydrated body is a happy body!

#2 AVOID INTENSE WORKOUTS/ACTIVITY❌🏋: This can counteract the relaxation and muscle recovery benefits of the treatment. Exercise or intense activity immediately after a massage can put unnecessary stress on your muscles and cause them to tighten up again. Allow your body time to fully adjust and recover from the massage.

#3 STRETCH DAILY🙆‍♀️: Even just 5 minutes a day can make a big difference! Stretching after a treatment can keep the joints mobile, improve flexibility and maintain the looseness in muscle and tissue. It also prevents your muscles from seizing up and helps in retaining the benefits from after your treatment. To get the full benefit out of stretching a muscle, reminder to hold the position for 30 sec - 1 min.

For any other questions how to benefit and get the most out of your massage, feel free to message and ask away!😊

There’s something incredibly comforting about freshly laundered sheets and cozy blankets.😊

As a therapist, we want your visit to be comfortable and that starts with a prepped table. 🛏️💗

Let’s talk about the benefits of massage therapy!

#1 REDUCES STRESS- massage aids in helping promote relaxation by relieving tense muscles to help alleviate physical discomfort and promote a sense of relaxation though-out the body.

#2 HELPS LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE- massage can trigger the body’s response to relaxation. Massage is beneficial in decreasing sns firing (the body’s stress response), which is what elevates blood pressure. Massage can help to reduce those stress levels which further aids in lowering blood pressure.

#3 PROMOTES MUSCLE RELAXATION- massage can help target tight/ tense muscles, helping to release knots and tension. With the work of tissue manipulation, massage promotes muscle relaxation.

#4 HELPS IMPROVE CIRCULATION- with the pressure applied during a massage, it’s helps to deliver oxygen and nutrients to the muscles and tissues, which can help overall body function and reduce feeling fatigued.

#5 HELPS IMPROVE POSTURE- tight muscles can pull the body out of alignment leading to poor posture. Massage helps to relive these tight muscles, allowing the body to return to its natural alignment followed with home care to help stretch and strengthen the targeted muscles.
