Yesterday’s outing was one to remember! 🎭✨

Our residents had a wonderful time visiting the Eleanor Pickup Arts Centre where we watched the play A Wolf in the Valley.

The performance told the story of the first murder in Drayton Valley back in 1922, and everyone really enjoyed the history, storytelling, and talented cast. It was a great afternoon filled with conversation, laughter, and a wonderful community experience. ❤️

Seeing families share special memories and milestones with our residents means so much to us. Watching Acelee grow over this past year has been such a joy for everyone at Points West. From visiting as just a tiny newborn to celebrating her 1st birthday surrounded by residents and staff who adore her — it’s been incredibly special to be part of her journey. 🎂🎉

Building these meaningful relationships and becoming part of each other’s lives is what makes our community feel like family. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate these beautiful moments together. 💖

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Mother’s Day with our residents and families! 💐💕
There were lots of smiles, laughter, treats, and special moments shared throughout the day. We were also able to capture some beautiful photos that we know everyone will cherish.

We will be printing the photos and placing them in frames for the residents to keep as a special memory from the celebration. 📸🖼️

Congratulations as well to the residents who won our Mother’s Day door prizes! 🎉🎁 We hope you enjoy your special gifts.

Today’s Animal Day was such a wonderful success! 🐐🎉

While we were all looking forward to meeting the c**t, he wasn’t able to make it—he was feeling a bit fussy and didn’t want to load up. Animals have their moments too!

That said, everything else went incredibly well. The goats were a huge hit, bringing so much joy and smiles to everyone who came out.

We also had an amazing time celebrating Acelee’s 1st birthday—what a special day filled with laughter, fun, and great memories! 🎂💛

In our community, we believe in nurturing connection, purpose, and joy in everyday life—and sometimes, those moments come in the most beautiful, unexpected ways.

One of our residents has formed a gentle bond with a group of deer who visit her regularly. With trust built over time, she’s able to feed them by hand, creating a peaceful and meaningful connection with nature.

This is what the Eden Philosophy is all about—combating loneliness, helplessness, and boredom by fostering companionship, spontaneity, and moments of wonder. It’s not just about care, it’s about living fully.

Moments like these remind us that joy can be found right outside our window 🌿
