New update : along with the rest of healthcare settings in Ontario, the mask mandate has been extended by the CMTO as well, requiring masking to continue in RMT offices and treatment rooms. This is to stay in place until June 11th. When I receive more information moving forward, I will be sure to post it!

CMTO has issued an update in regards to the mask mandate. To be clear, RMT settings are considered healthcare settings and masking will remain until April 27th. On the upside, I will not have to keep bugging you for prescreening! Some have mentioned liking the reminders, however, so if you’d like me to continue the 24-hour reminder, let me know! As well, moving forward after April 27th, please know that because of a client-centred approach, I realize that there are some instances where you may prefer to remain masked or prefer that I remain masked. As a healthcare professional I understand this and want your comfort and safety to remain priority. All you have to do is let me know, if this is the case!

Hello everyone. I wanted to provide an update especially because of the announcement today. Regarding lockdown, as Regulated health professionals, currently RMTs will still be permitted to provide treatment, so long as the benefit of you receiving treatment outweighs the risk. As such, I will be monitoring C-K public health updates and numbers closely and continuing to stringently follow all cleaning protocols and screening procedures.
However, I understand that some will not be comfortable venturing out for a massage and/or deem for yourself that you do not wish to encounter any risk at all. If this is the case, I do understand, and only ask that you let me know as soon as possible. I also request that in the spirit of utmost safety that anyone who may still be considering meeting with family members from outside our region (such as from current “Red Zones”) over the holidays please reach out to me so that we can reschedule your appointment for a safer time. I strive to make the risk level at the office as low as possible and must do my best to protect other patients, myself, and my family (some of which are at an increased risk).
Please note that things may still change very quickly regarding permission to treat patients and as such i ask for understanding in the event that cancellations end up happening on short notice.
I also am only continuing with existing treatment plans and not taking on new patients at this time.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Stay safe, stay healthy, and I hope you still have a very merry Christmas and wish you all the very best for the coming new year!

As I have received a number of inquiries I figured I had better mention that Yes! I have reopened earlier than expected, on a limited basis. Previously scheduled appointments and patients had been contacted and as such my schedule is full until January 2021 and I am not scheduling any more appointments until then.
Otherwise much will be the same as when I reopened in July... masks and prescreening are required. I will not be accepting any new patients until further notice, only accepting appointments for existing or current clients. All in-person interactions must be scheduled in advance, and there will be no same-day bookings.
I will be reposting the opening guidelines I shared previously, again in the New Year.
In the meanwhile I’m very happy to have been back sooner and glad to help again!
