When I started on my own journey of deeper healing, one of the things that mattered most was Community.

It was having others who were walking the path alongside me. Women who had similar feelings and struggles and the same deep desires to belong and matter just as they were. 🦋

This program will offer simple techniques and practices to ground and connect us. It will provide structure and accountability and ancient wisdoms and teachings to hold with us for life.

But the part I am most excited about is the togetherness it will provide. Through a shared online space, through a couple of live calls and even indirectly, in knowing that we are moving forward as a group of Women sincere in our self-knowing and in our support of one another.

The program will start after next weekend - fully online for anyone interested - and with the option to add in person 1-1 bodywork sessions with me for those in TBay.

Now is the time to prioritize your well-being and re-connection to Self. 💗

Not many things have supported my healing and sense of purpose in this life like reconnecting with the spirited and curious little leader that I was at such a young age.

She had a courage and a tenderness that, over the years, I almost lost. It’s been a lot of excavating, some painful remembering, and a lot of faltering - to get back close to her. To build some trust again.

Teaching in a new city!! And it feels so right! ✨

Over the last ten years, wherever I’ve been, whichever studio, whatever city - the RESTORATIVE practice has resonated with people deeply.

It’s the balm we need for our tired bodies, our over-full minds and our seeking souls…

And we’re blessed to be able to gather in a space as beautiful as Ananda Yoga Studio in Fort William to find just that.

Next month is bringing some ✨ BIG CHANGES ✨ for us, friends!

I am cutting way back on massage services here in Dryden to begin offering more Women’s Retreats/Circles and to develop my 1:1 services around NWO.

I am very excited to share that I will be moving my home base to Thunder Bay as of October 1! This will allow me more stimulation and connection personally, while continuing to grow my mission around the region in ways that are aligned with my heart. ♥️

The Community in Dryden is beyond precious to me and this is definitely not a good-bye...

I will be back in my Dryden office for 3 days every second week to keep seeing my closest clients. If you are someone I’ve worked with in the past but have not been alerted to this change yet, you will no longer find availability listed on my online booking system. You can however, message me privately to be put on a list to be told of any openings I may have closer to my days in town.

You’ll also still see me working with some of the amazing local organizations I’ve been blessed to be growing alongside in recent years. As well as at the Lutheran Church (every second Thursday - with more details to come) gathering on the mat with the beautiful Women I’ve come to know and share Yoga with, since my return to NWO 8 years ago!

This step is a testament to my need and commitment to always be evolving. My core mission is to support Women to come back to their truest selves and I am all in on this journey alongside you all!

🌷 What better day than Spring Equinox to share this with you All?🌷

Since closing the Awakened Roots storefront and production op, I’ve had it in mind to do a little rebrand and today is the day!

Since making that big change and closing the physical space, I’ve been working as sincerely as ever to promote health and connection in NWO. Working 1-1 with so many of you, hosting workshops, organizing retreats, offering online courses, and creating unique programming for organizations within our Communities.

I’m ever evolving as an individual and my Business has always reflected that. It’s always been me, committed first and foremost to my own healing and growth, and then in turn - sharing what I acquire with anyone who is sincerely interested.

Today, to better reflect where we’re at and where we’re going, the Awakened Roots name is getting a well earned retirement as we transition to 💚 JOURNEY WITH JENS 💚

I’ve had many nicknames in my life, Jens being the one given to me by the crew I’ve studied with over the past decade. It speaks to a version of me that is Compassionate, Creative, Deeply Connected and (maybe more than) a little bit Bold. ❤️‍🔥

It takes a lot to put your heart and soul out there for others to look at, but for me it’s always felt more like a calling to heed, rather than a concious choice.

Now it’s time to go deeper, to be more authentic, to stand in courage and unite in what’s real and true. Some of the ideas/visions coming from within me lately are unlike anything I’ve yet to see ‘out there’ and will be excited to share when ready.
