We are so insanely privileged (to have done nothing) to be born here. I think some people are very ignorant to how the vast majority of people live in the world. We have it pretty great. For this, I will always be grateful 🙏🏼

So much more I could say but will bite my tongue 😛

People are longing for depth, connection, and community.
So many are quietly craving something more beyond a workout or another distraction...
But something real.

What a beautiful time to be teaching something so deeply needed in this world.

To guide others beyond the mat- into presence, purpose, and self-inquiry.

To create spaces where truth can rise and hearts can soften.

Yoga teachers, don’t doubt the openness and readiness of those before you.
Trust the power of what you carry.
Teach from your heart, and let it ripple out. ✨

Happy International Yoga Day!

Today this ancient practice is celebrated and recognized for the immense impact and value it has brought to our world. Yoga embodies unity of body, mind, thoughts and actions to experience a deep sense of connection with ourselves and world around us. It is not only (and doesn’t even need to be) a physical practice. it’s a spiritual tradition created to alleviate human suffering and awaken us to our true nature.

I am so incredibly grateful for the teachings of Yoga, and to my teacher for sharing this teachings with such clarity and insight. Becoming a student of Yoga has been the best thing I've ever done for myself. The living wisdom of this tradition pulses through me and is a continual source of inspiration.

Grateful for this day to celebrate Yoga and dedicated to living these teachings every single day.

I am so inspired and grateful to all the seekers all over the world, walking this path with me 🙏💓

Some morning thoughts and questions (what are your thoughts?) on separation sickness, AI in the 'wellness world', and how we are more connected than ever, yet more isolated and lonely than ever...

posted a beautiful reflection question this am that prompted this (thank you as always for the inspo) as well as a blog I have been working on about separation sickness.

As much as I hate talking into a camera, I'm trying to challenge myself to share my knowledge more and more. For years I held myself back because I was afraid I might say something wrong and offend someone with more authority in the yoga world. My students mostly are the encouragement behind these posts. Thank you 🙏🏼

Grateful for another trip around the 🌞, a family that truly rallies around each other and a few good friends. Honestly I have it all, and I never want to take that for granted. 💗💗💗

In just two weeks, I’ll begin my first semester of Massage Therapy College in the Hamilton area. I’ll be there on and off for the next year, and by next spring, I’ll be a fully Registered Massage Therapist—able to take clients and bill insurance.

I’m so excited to combine this modality with the holistic services I already offer, and to turn our space into a super-luxe, deeply healing experience for those who are ready to rest, reset, and be nourished on every level.

Think… individual or small group stays, Yoga & Massage Therapy, hot tub, sauna, infrared-heated yoga sessions, holistic beauty treatments, Ayurvedic cleanses, nature hikes, nearby beach visits, silence retreats, yoga teacher trainings & more… all within the natural sanctuary of our 22 acres of boreal forest.

Our area really hasn’t seen anything like this before—and I guess if I want it, I’ll have to build it.

(And by me, I mean Travis, who is the unsung hero of all of this!)

It feels weird to be promoting 'self care' in these tumultuous times. There are wars happening, the stock market is crashing, geopolitical climate is out of control... There are so many real social issues pulling at our awareness coming from all directions. So who am I to be posting about such frivolous things like taking time for ourSelves?

Yet I deeply know with all of my being that we need it. We need to be reminded of our own inner sanctuary- the place within us that cannot be shaken by the chaos of the world.

Because when we are regulated, resourced, and deeply rooted in our own well-being, we don’t just retreat from the world, we show up for it. We engage with more clarity, more resilience, and more heart.

Self-care isn’t about ignoring what’s happening, it’s about cultivating the strength to face it without losing ourselves in the overwhelm. It’s about remembering that rest, presence, and healing are radical acts in a world that thrives on depletion.

So yes, I will keep sharing. Not because self-care is frivolous, but because it is foundational. ✊🏼
