Job Title: Housing Internship Initiative-Housing Administrative Assistant

The Paul First Nation is accepting resumes for the CMHC Internship Program.

The Trainee must meet the requirements of the Internship program: Must be between 18-30 years old and a Paul First Nation Member with an expressed interest in becoming an Administrative Assistant

The Trainee will be working and training in the area of Housing Administrative Assistant. Reporting to the Housing Manager, this position has a wide range of responsibilities from standard clerical duties to specialized data input.

Internship Requirements

• The candidate must be drug and alcohol free-zero tolerance.
• The candidate must be flexible, reliable and willing to work.
• Ability to manage and maintain the housing data base.
• Ability to maintain a filing system for work orders, invoices, new housing applications, renovation requests.
• Attendance at meetings when required
• Taking meeting minutes
• Coding of invoices and requisitions.
• Knowledge of Paul First Nation homes and locations an asset.
• Must be courteous and friendly when dealing with supervisor, co-workers and public.
• Willing and able to take training when required.

FIELD ASSISTANT

TreeTime Services Inc. is looking for field assistants for our 2019 season. We are looking for individuals who are interested in a career in forestry, environmental sciences and/or historical resources.

Our 2019 operations are expected to consist of: • Archaeological surveys (June-October) • Tree Planting (May-August) • Aerial herbicide monitoring (August-September)

Primary responsibilities include:

The Paul First Nation is currently accepting resumes for a maintenance position within the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for indoor and outdoor maintenance as well as the opening and closing of the school during community functions.

Job Description:
• Snow removal from parking lot
• Mowing of grass and w**d control
• Maintenance of playgrounds
• Unexpected and ongoing maintenance to school building as needed as well as equipment maintenance,
• Working knowledge of plumbing is an asset. Repair of facets, toilets and pipes.
• Repair and maintenance of school equipment
• Working closely with janitorial staff. There is occasionally on overlap of janitorial and maintenance responsibilities as needed. The successful candidate should expect to do custodial tasks when necessary.
• The successful candidate will need to be available on weekends and evenings
