WORKSHOP: Stress & Meditation Fundamentals

This workshop is available for all ages, families, groups, and organizations to equip participants with a fundamental understanding of the stress-response (the sympathetic nervous system) and how Mindfulness-Based Interventions (MBI's) can turn on the relaxation-response (the parasympathetic nervous system). This can assist with stress reduction, post-operative, athletic performance, chronic disease, and psychological imbalances.

The techniques taught are a valuable adjunct to anyone already working with a health professional and for those seeking to ready themselves to process past traumatic information through EMDR, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, or other psychological interventions that require grounding in the present moment.
