This page was put together to share the journey to my husbands health. In August of 2021 he was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia or CML. A year later he has gone back to have a Bone Marrow Transplant.

It's almost a year since he went in for the transplant, or rather a stem cell treatment. The last three months have been rocky, with a 2.25 month stay in the Cowichan hospital and a bowel resection. Mark is now back in recovery mode after being critial and is trying to work his way to 40%..baby steps. This is requiring him to get accustomed to new physical challenges as well. The greatest struggle is the mental mountain he is climbing on a daily basis.

Monday’s levels, today is day 50 after receiving the stem cells, kidney’s are still struggling after the chemotherapy. Mark is hanging in and healing, it’s incredibly difficult to be away from the family. We are trying to go visit every second or third week to help boost his moral and deliver necessities and home cooked meals

Made it to Vancouver and spent time with Mark, brought him some nutritional supplements to help support his immune system, apparently the chemo has taxed his kidneys so now it’s time to research vitamin support for them as well
