Have you ever noticed you have more bladder urgency or leakage when your low back pain flares?

If so, you're not alone! Pelvic floor dysfunction is strongly correlated with lumbopelvic pain. Check out the infographic to learn more!

Key message for patients/clients:
Not all low back pain should be treated with core strengthening (including kegels).
Step 1: assess
Step 2: relax muscles (as needed)
Step 3: improve coordination of core unit
Step 4: retrain and strengthen

Key message for practitioners:
We need to screen for pelvic floor dysfunction with all patients/clients who have lumbopelvic pain. Refer or co-treat if this is not your area of expertise 💪
