Healing didn’t happen in a straight line for me. It took time, trust, and a lot of moments where I wasn’t sure I’d make it through. There were experiences that broke me open in ways I never asked for - the kind of pain that lives in your body long after the moment has passed.
But slowly, one step at a time, I learned to trust myself again.
To believe that no matter what happened, I would survive.
To take the next right step, even when I couldn’t see the whole path.
I found practitioners who held up a mirror to the parts of me I thought were gone.
I found my voice again - my truth, my strength.
And I found people who earned my trust and stayed, even when I couldn’t stay with myself.
There were seasons where I ran.
And kept running.
Until the fear finally softened… and I made the choice to stay.
Stay in my life. Stay in my body. Stay in the place I was rebuilding.
Healing is a trust fall.
The more you trust yourself, the more you allow others to meet you with the same care.
If you’re in the middle of your own rebuilding, you’re not behind. You’re not failing. You’re learning to stay - and that’s sacred work.
Save this if you’re in a season of rebuilding ✨
