A HUGE Thank You to all who ordered their Bliss during our March webstore opening! You keep us busy and 😊. Our next opening is at the end of June and Henk and I are off to our Europe travel adventure. Our roots are both in Holland and we will visit relatives from my mom's side of the family that I've never met before in a town where we go back to the 1600s. So excited!

Dahlia dividing madness is ON! About 200 done so far. We have Henk's granddaughter's wedding on our property this summer...

Dahlia dividing madness is ON! About 200 done so far. We have Henk's granddaughter's wedding on our property this summer, so plan to make the gardens look absolutely fabulous. We won't sell tubers this year as we are heading out on holidays shortly so haven't got time - next year! Hope your Sunday is a bit less labour intensive!

It's been a busy time as I prep the Bliss for our 2 week March webstore opening! My Soap, REPAIR ointment, Wild Hip Face cream and Fire Cider were made last week and Rose Oil and Quit yer Itchin today. For those of you who shop at Pomme (formerly the Community Farm Store) in Duncan, you may have noticed that they are no longer selling 120ml Wild Hip Face cream.
I am still making it, but want you to purchase it from me directly. I open my website for orders 3xs per year (March 1, July 1 and Nov1). You can order at www.botanicalbliss.ca and pick up at the Duncan market March 7th, at our farm or I can deliver to you locally for $7.

Many of you may remember that in the early days (2011-14), I sold hand made semi precious stone jewellery as well as Botanical Bliss. When the Bliss took off I shelved the jewels as I was just too busy. Well, semi-retirement has opened up some space for me and Henk's daughter Jessica has generously offered to share the results at her cafe, the Fishbowl (Government and Cairnsmore in Duncan). So come for a coffee and take a peek. It's been a lot of fun getting creative again.

Two years of patience, love and hard work is yielding big rewards in our citrus greenhouse. I have never eaten larger or juicier lemons in my life, and all are chemical-free. We pop the tiny Clamondin Oranges into our mouths whole for a blast of delicious Vitamin C and citrus tang. The limes are huge and the Bergamots have yet to be tasted, though scrapping their rinds releases the scent of one of my favorite essential oils. The smell of fresh local citrus in a cold dark November is sooo good for the soul. Thanks Ma Nature, you rock.

Tomorrow at the Duncan Market, Henk and I will be honouring my mother Vivian, who at age 91 and 92 regularly attended the Duncan Market. She loved being there and even on days when I didn't want to attend, she'd say, "I'll put my long johns on" and was game to go. She was always such a trooper. We love you Mom.
