Ts'ewulhtun Health Centre Ts’ewulhtun Health Centre manages public health and communicable disease control and provides health education programs for the Cowichan Tribes

Ts'ewulhtun Health Centre Goals:

1. Delivers programs and services that will encourage and enable individuals to adopt healthy lifestyles
2. Works together with the Cowichan Tribes Council, the Health Advisory Committee, All Services staff, other agencies, and the community to promote an environment, which is supportive of health lifestyle change
3. Incorporates into its programs and services the traditional ways of the Cowichan people, which demonstrate respect for individuals, families, and the community.
4. Works towards a health service, which is controlled and managed by Cowichan people, and promotes independence, self-determination, and choice.
5. Ensures that the community receives the best care possiblethrough the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of all programs and services offered by the Centre and learning organization practice.
6. Preserves, promotes, and enhances the provision of safe, quality care to members and their families, as well as creates a health work environment or workplace.

This clinic is for all Quw’utsun mustimuhw age 6 months and older.

Rides are available if needed.
Please call Ts’ewulhtun Health Centre at (250) 746-6184 to arrange transportation.

If you can’t make it to the clinic today, but would like your flu vaccination, but please contact Ts’ewulhtun Health Centre to book an appointment.

For COVID-19 vaccinations, please register online at vaccinated.gov.bc.ca to book an appointment, or visit your local pharmacy.

Our Flu and COVID Drive-Thru Clinic is still on TODAY (Wednesday, October 29, 2025) until 4:30pm - despite the power outage.

Come see us in the Ts’ewulhtun Health Centre parking lot for your vaccination!

Updated at 4:15pm, Wednesday, October 29, 2025 - Please note today’s Flu and COVID vaccine clinic will be shutting down at 4:30pm.

Our final flu and COVID vaccine clinic will take place tomorrow, Thursday, October 30th, at Ts’ewulhtun Health Centre between 1:00pm and 5:00pm

Please be advised that a number of Cowichan Tribes buildings and departments are impacted by a power outage, including:

* The drive thru/walk thru Flu and COVID vaccine clinic is still taking place this afternoon until 4:30pm at the Ts’ewultun Health Centre parking lot.

* Buses may be delayed dropping students off after school and students who live on Miller Rd wil be taken to the bus compound due to road closures.

We will provide an update as we know more regarding the departments that are affected and impacts to our programs and services.

We are hiring!

Cowichan Tribes is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time, permanent, unionized position at our Ts'ewulhtun Health Center . In this role, the Licensed Practical Nurse is to work in collaboration with the Community Health Nurses (CHN) and a multidisciplinary health team to provide maternal child health promotion and enhancement services and programming to expectant mothers and families with young children aged 0-6 years.
